Background and education
Anne-Sophie Claeys graduated in 2005 with a Law Degree from the Catholic University of Leuven.
Pursuant to this she obtained an additional diploma in International Relations (CUL, 2006) and a Master of Laws in European and Comparative Law (UG, 2007).
She became a lawyer at the Ghent Bar in 2007 and joined Everest in October 2010 after completing her professional internship at Storme, Leroy, Van Parys.
Anne-Sophie is active in the department of social law led by Jan De Waele. She provides assistance to both employers and employees regarding both requests for advice and requests for litigation (negotiation and procedure).
She practices different aspects of social law with a focus on individual labour law, organisational matters, social criminal law and social security law.
She has also acquired experience in general contract law and has gained a broad experience with regard to fiscal issues concerning property tax.
