Background and education
Christophe holds a Master's degree in Law from the Université Catholique de Louvain, having obtained great distinction at the end of his last year (2012) and also for his master's thesis under the supervision of Professor Patrick Wéry (“Promises of contract: reflection on the opportunity of a uniform legal regime. Overview of European and Comparative Law”).
He also graduated magna cum laude from the Institut d’études européennes of the Université libre de Bruxelles (2013) with a Complementary Master in European Law.
Christophe is a member of the Brussels bar since 2014.
Before joining Everest in 2018, he has worked for a period of four years at the law firm Lexlitis Brussels, where he gained extensive experience in insolvency proceedings and Bankruptcy Law.
Christophe practices mainly Insolvency Law, Corporate Law, Commercial Law and the Law of Obligations.
His working language is French, but he also practices in English and Dutch.
In June 2018 Christophe was appointed as a bankruptcy trustee by the French speaking Brussels Court of Commerce.
