Background and education
Maureen holds a European Bachelor of Laws of Lille Catholic University (Paris Campus) cum laude and a jurist linguist diploma in Spanish (2014).
She also holds an LL.M in International Commercial Law from the University of Westminster in London with Distinction (2015) and a Master in Arbitration and International Commercial Law from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne (2016).
During her studies, Maureen did internships at the law firms Everest and Castaldi Mourre & Partners (CastaldiPartners) in Paris. In 2017, she did a six-months internship at Everest before joining the firm as a jurist.
In 2019, she obtained a Master of Laws from the Free University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles) cum laude.
Maureen is a member of the Brussels Bar and joined Everest as an attorney in 2019.
Maureen is part of the Litigation, mediation and arbitration department headed by Herman Verbist.
She practices Contract and International commercial law and has a particular interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms.
