Background and education
Valéry Vermeulen has a law degree from Université Libre de Bruxelles (1997), an «agrégation» from Université Libre de Bruxelles to teach in higher education and a LLM in European business law from Institut d’Etudes Européennes (1999).
Invited professor at HELDB (Institut Supérieur Economique) in 1998 and subsquently at EPHEC (Ecole Pratique de Hautes Etudes Commerciales), he has taught the following subjects: General Principles of Law, Law of Obligations, Commercial Law, Drafting of Legal Acts, Economic Legislation (Corporate Law), European Institutions and Banking Law.
Member of the Brussels Bar since 1999, Valéry Vermeulen completed his training and then worked as a senior associate at van Cutsem-Wittamer-Marnef & Partners’ law firm. He joined Everest as Partner from 1st March 2018.
With his experience as a specialist in social and commercial law, Valéry Vermeulen offers quality legal services to companies, whether they are small, medium-sized or larger companies or groups of companies of international dimension.
